Star Room

Star Room Our caterpillars have hatched from their cocoons this week, having turned into beautiful butterflies. The children have loved watching their transformation.
We will soon be releasing them to our outside space. The children have enjoyed playing a new fishing game this week with large fishing rods to catch different coloured fish. There was lots of talk about the colours and numbers on the fish and we were very impressed with how well the children were able to wait for their turn.
We extended the children's interest in singing this week to the creative table this week - creating our own current buns (from the song 5 current buns) and sharks (from Baby Shark). The hot weather led to lots of fun with water outside to help keep us cool. Please remember to bring a named sunhat and to apply suncream before pre-school. Our outside space gets very warm, especially in the afternoons and we want all children to be safe and comfortable in the summer sun.
